3 New Cloud Database Services

I want to share three developments in the cloud database market that I think are worth noting. 

1. PlanetScale, with $50M in new Series C funding, is GA. Six months after being released into beta, PlanetScale's MySQL-compatible serverless cloud database is now generally available for $29 per month, or for resourced-based pricing on a case-by-case basis. There's also a free tier, in beta, for developers.
